Privacy Policy

You can search for mental health care and read every guide without an account. The site never asks about your mental health, and the facility finder and tools run in your browser, so what you search and choose isn't sent to the site. Google serves the ads on this site and uses cookies to do so. Your information is never sold.

Effective October 5, 2026Applies to anxiety.help

anxiety.help is operated by Rupe Enterprises LLC, a Washington limited liability company. It is an independent site, not a government agency, a mental health provider or a crisis service. It has no access to any medical, therapy, insurance or crisis line records.

Your Health Information

The site doesn't ask for, collect or store health details: no symptoms, diagnoses, medications, therapy history or insurance numbers. There is no intake form or screening quiz, and nothing you do on the site is passed to a provider, insurer or referral service.

Anxiety Help is a publisher, not a health care provider or health plan, so the federal health privacy law, HIPAA, doesn't apply to it. That is one reason the site is built so it doesn't collect health information in the first place.

Please don't include health details or other sensitive information in a contact form message. If you need to talk with someone now, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org; it is listed on every page.

Information Handled When You Visit

The site's hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps and security events. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems and understand basic site performance.

The site has no user accounts or comments.

The Finder and Tools Run in Your Browser

When you search the facility finder by ZIP code or city and choose filters, the search and filtering happen on your device. The same goes for the site's tools: the answers you pick are worked out in your browser. What you type and choose is not sent to the site's servers, not stored and not shared with advertisers or analytics. If you choose to search from your location, your browser asks your permission first, and the location is used on your device only to sort facilities by distance.

Where the site shows a map, the map images come from an open map tile service, which receives ordinary technical requests (such as your IP address and the map area being shown) to deliver those images.

Messages Sent Through the Contact Form

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message so corrections, feedback and privacy requests can be read and answered. The form sends your message to the site's inbox through an email provider. Cloudflare Turnstile helps block automated submissions; Cloudflare processes verification information for that purpose. Messages are not passed to SAMHSA, any provider or anyone else, and the form isn't monitored as a crisis line.

Advertising and Cookies From Google AdSense

This site shows display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technology to serve ads, to limit how often you see an ad, to measure ad performance and, depending on your choices, to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google and its partners may process your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view for these purposes.

You can turn off personalized ads in Google's ad settings. Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before ad cookies are used.

Analytics, Cookies, and Similar Technology

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site and to monitor site performance. Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device details, referral information, and interactions with the site. It may use cookies or similar technology for this purpose. What you type into the finder, the tools or the contact form is not sent to Google Analytics.

Google processes analytics data under its own privacy policy. You can limit cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site infrastructure may also use technology needed for delivery, security, or fraud prevention.

When Information May Be Shared

Technical data may be processed by providers that host, secure or operate the site, and by Google and its partners for advertising as described above. Contact messages are delivered through an email provider to the people who handle site inquiries. Information may also be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse. Rupe Enterprises LLC does not sell personal information, and contact messages are never sold or shared with providers, marketers or lead buyers.

Retention and Security

Infrastructure records and contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed for correspondence, delivery, security, troubleshooting and legal obligations. Third-party services set their own retention periods. No online service can promise perfect security, but the site uses established hosting and access controls appropriate to it.

Your Choices and Requests

Browser settings can limit or clear cookies and local storage, and Google's ad settings control personalized ads. Because privacy rights vary by location, you may ask what information Rupe Enterprises LLC controls, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern through the contact form. A request may need to be verified before it is acted on, to protect you.

The site does not currently change its behavior in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. Where a legally recognized opt-out signal applies to these practices, it will be honored as required.

Children's Privacy

Pages about mental health care for children and teens are written for parents and caregivers. The site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Updates

Changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes to how information is handled will be described before or when they take effect, as required.
